The Story
Mrs. Bernard reached out to us through our website and spoke with our Acquisition Manager, Nissan. They both had good impressions of one another and decided to meet at the property. Nissan visited the property, made an offer, and the Bernards accepted.
Fast forward to a couple weeks later, they had a change of heart; they wanted to back out of our agreement and cancel our signed contract.
In order to show other investors the Bernards may have wanted to work with “underneath us” that this property was legally binded to us- Nissan filed an NOI (Notice of Interest) with the county.
Once they saw that we filed the NOI, they eventually gave up because they knew they were at fault. if this would have gone to court, we would’ve won. In the end we purchased the property.
